Epicures pulled pork - kind of

What's for dinner??

I made us some homemade tortillas and filled it with pork that I cooked in the slow cooker. I added the Epicures what's for dinner Stampede ribs pack. - this was an awesome choice it's similar to the pulled pork WFD packs, but different enough that it was a nice change.
I also steamed some broccoli in the rectangle steamer as our side dish.

Pasta sauce featuring Little Italy Secret Sauce

Supper!  Featuring Epicure's Little Italy Secret Sauce

I bought the wrong tomatoes (diced not crushed) but I didn't let that stop me! A sautéed some mushrooms, added them to some hamburger and tomatoes, and topped it off with 2 tbsp of Little Italy secret sauce.. I think I'm going to use this seasoning rather than the Epicure marinara seasoning from now on. But Don't get me wrong, The Epicure Marinara seasoning sauce is really good too, but my new favorite seasoning for pasta sauce is the Little Italy

Fruit muffins

you will need: -
2 cups of flour
2 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp of salt
1/2 cup of butter or margarine (we used margarine and they tasted great)
1 cup of sugar
2 eggs
3/4 cup of milk (we used 2%) but I'm sure it would work well with others
1 - 1.5 cups of fruit (we chose blueberries this time but it also works great with apples, strawberries, blackberries)

Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit

Make it: -
Mix all dry ingredients together in a large mixing bowl and set aside
In another mixing bowl cream butter and sugar together, beat in eggs, then milk
add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and mix well
Fold in your choice of fruit

I used Medium sized liners and filled them 3/4 full
Bake for 25 - 30 minutes.
Depending on your fruit and liner size you can make 12 - 24 muffins.
Easy, frugal and delicious
